The Anne Harris Counselling Centre is situated in a pleasant and tranquil country setting just a short 5 minute drive (7.4 k’s) north of Masterton on State Highway 2. Consultations are professional and unrushed, and because privacy and confidentiality are paramount, Anne has limited the amount of daily appointments to ensure that you will not meet other clients while attending consultations, hence no waiting room. Appointments can be arranged for weekends or evenings to help fit client needs or for those working 9-5, shift workers, students or for those with other personal commitments. Anne has a Diploma in Professional Counselling with an Advanced study Major in Child Development and Effective Parenting. She is a Qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and has also studied different forms of counselling (Behaviour Therapy, Person Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy & Family Therapy) and has qualifications in Child Psychology & Telephone Counselling. Anne has spent time working with special needs children and has also worked within the structure of a Montessori education system.
